Pre-Paris Haul

Hi guys!
Some of you may know this, but for those of you that don't, I'm leaving for Paris and London in 3 days!!:) Seeing as I'm leaving so soon there were a few things that I needed to pick up before we left.
Please ignore the random tub of lotion! I needed it to hold up my powder. :)
I recently realized that I don't have a black eyeliner that I actually like. I mean I have the MUFE one but it's a mini and personally, I'm not totally in love with it. So, after much research I decided to try this one out! I believe that it was only $3.99 so the price is right!
I am also running low on my Maybelline Dream Matte Powder and I thought that it would make more sense for me to get a new powder and bring that to Europe with me instead of bringing both and trying to finish that one off. I used this powder I think last year and I loved it! So I'm really excited to be trying it again!
My mom and I also thought that it didn't make much sense to bring a huge container of hairspray with us, so while I was at CVS I picked this one up. They really didn't have much of a selection for travel sized hairsprays but I'll be interested to try this out!
This I actually bought a few weeks ago because I ran out of primer, but I'm loving it so far!
I couldn't resist. After seeing all of the swatches online and hearing people rave about them I just had to cave in and get some! They are so pretty *drools*... But I'm definitely in love with these right now, I'll be doing a full review and swatches later! Oh, and this color is 035 Charm.
Again, in love. This is 001 Honey.

Sorry if the pictures look a little bit funny to you guys, I did this post on my iPad and therefore I didn't crop any of them. I feel like the quality of this pictures is pretty good though! I wanted to try out doing a blog post on it before I left for Europe that way I had options for when I'm over there! Let me know what you guys thought of the new 'iPad post' and what drugstore products have you guys been loving??

Have a beautiful day! :)

The Beauty Department Inspired Manicure

Hi guys!

Check out The Beauty Department's version here.

I'm going to keep this nice and short because I need to get ready for work! But obviously, this was an inspired manicure from the Beauty Department, to see the steps just click on the link to their website. It's super duper easy. I just used Loreals Waters Edge and Yule Love It from a Joan Rivers Christmas collection of polishes 2 years ago.

Have a wonderful day everybody! :)

The Death Cure

Hello, hello!
So I realize that it's been like forever and a day since I did a book post, but I guess that's just because I haven't really read anything recently that I thought was worth talking about! Well, until this obviously!
As you may know, I have read all 3 books in this series (<3) I have posts on both (The Maze Runner) and (The Scorch Trials).

First of all, I must say I really didn't like The Scorch Trials all that much. I thought The Maze Runner was absolutely fantastic, it had me hooked from like, page 5. The Scorch Trials, not so much. In comparison to the other books in the series, it was just mediocre. However, James Dashner did definitely redeem himself with this baby!

I am definitely a fan of the plot twists he put in this book, I really wasn't too sure how he was going to go about this seeing how the second book ended. I will admit that in the beginning of this book I hated Thomas. I didn't really want to, but I did. I guess we've sort of had a love hate relationship going on through this series, I loved him in the first book, loved him in the second until the end, hated him in the beginning of the third and then he won me over again!
Obviously, from the books that I read I am a huge fan of dystopian literature, and Mr. Dashner just made my fan girl status go up about 300 points! Boom.

I don't really want to spoil this book for you guys, but I can happily say that I loved the ending. Certain things that happened in the book did leave me heart broken, but my heart glued itself back together after I read the ending!

Unfortunately, this is the last book in the series (I think) </3. However, James Dashner did write a prequel to The Maze Runner and it's being released in August! YAY! I cannot wait to read that, I just hope that the whole loving every other book thing doesn't apply to this one.
If you hadn't already realized, I loved this book, and I highly recommend it to anyone that has read and liked, The Hunger Games series or the Matched trilogy!

And now, here are all of the little links that your heart desires-

The Maze Runner (Maze Runner Trilogy, Book 1)
The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner Trilogy, Book 2)
The Death Cure (Maze Runner Trilogy, Book 3)
The Kill Order (Maze Runner Prequel)

Sinful Colors in 24/7

Let me just say, the photos do not do this polish justice. Hmm... how can I describe this? Ok! Take about 10000 neon pink highlighters and pour them into a bottle, add some nail polish stuff and then make it even brighter! Yeah, that sounds pretty accurate! This seems like it's actually a really popular color so you may have already seen this, or own this! I can understand why everybody is in love, this is by far the brightest neon pink color that I have ever seen, ever. Anyways! I got this bottle at Rite Aid for $1.99. So, if you can afford to splurge, I say buy it! ;)

3 coats to opaque, with a top coat over it.

Have a beautiful day! :)

OPI Cajun Shrimp

So as you probably know, coral colors are super hot right now. This color is sort of like a coral-red. I love it! I've been searching recently for a gorgeous bright neon coral color and I really would love China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy, but I don't know anywhere I can buy it near me! Do you guys know any good dupes for that? I think I may have seen one from Sinful Colors that looks kind of similar.
But anyways! If you're interested in Cajun Shrimp you can order it off of Amazon and it's pretty reasonable, so that's a good thing! :)
You can get it here - Opi Cajun Shrimp

Let me know some of your coral polish recommendations!

Have a beautiful day! :)

Target Beauty Bag!

Hi guys!
So most of you have probably heard of the Target Beauty Bag, and some of you may have even received it. I decided to just go through it and tell you some of my thoughts on the products in it!
I was super excited when I saw the bag that it came in. Honestly, it's super adorable! It is kind of small but you can bet that I'm going to put this to use when I'm packing for France!
This is my favorite sunscreen, hands down. I don't typically buy it in SPF 70 but I'll use it! This is actually the only sunscreen that I will use on my face. I feel like most of the other ones break me out, so this stuff is amazing!
I actually haven't tried this color yet, but I'm sure I'll love it seeing as I adore the one I have right now!
The coupon that I'm probably most excited about is the one for $3.00 off of Revlon! I definitely think I'll be buying some of their new balm stains!
I had actually already tried this product and I think I like it! Now, I'm not sure that it's really helping to repair my split ends, but it smells really good and makes my hair soft, so that's a plus!
This smells so good. Oh my gosh. Yum. When I took my bag out of the box this was all I could smell! I really like this scrub, it's somewhere between a microdermabrasion scrub and a regular exfoliating scrub. I'm definitely enjoying this, oh and did I mention that it smells delicious?
I actually have the full sizes of both of these and I really enjoy them, they are my favorite shampoo/conditioner set for color treated hair!

So I hope you enjoyed this sort of random post! Did any of  you receive this bag? If so, were you kind of bummed that we didn't get the Rimmel mascara that they showed in the ad?

Have a beautiful day! :)

Music Monday - Zac Brown Band

Hello everyone!
So yes, I know that it is currently Tuesday, but I had to post this! I didn't have time yesterday because I was studying for my last final of my Junior year!!! YAYYY! Literally. That makes me so happy! But, while I was studying last night, I was blasting this. It's my jam! For some reason I'm really not into country all that much during the Fall & Winter months. But when it comes to Spring & Summer, I just can't get enough! Is that just me? Or does country music remind you of driving to the beach during the summer time? Either way, I love it<3
I actually hadn't heard this song in a really long time but then at the Relay last weekend they played it and I was just hooked. Instantly.
Anyways! I hope you guys have had a great Monday and Tuesday! :)
Have a beautiful day!

I'm going to...

Hi guys!
So, you may have guessed it... I'm going to PARIS! Ahh! Words literally cannot even begin to describe how excited I am! :) I have been talking about this trip with my mom since I was probably 9! I'm even more excited because I'm going to be spending my 17th birthday in the city of lights!
I have a few questions for you guys, so bear with me!

  1. Should I do posts about my preparations for this trip?
  2. Do you have any recommendations on where to go in Paris?
  3. Should I have a Parisian giveaway? (I think YES?!) If so, what should I give away?
  4. If you've been, do you have any recommendations on things that I should be packing?
Ok, obviously you don't have to answer all of those. I'm just curious and looking for some feedback! Leave me comments, tweets, or emails with what you think! :)
Guys, I'm PUMPED!
Have a super duper B-E-A-U-TIFUL day! :)
(Can you tell I'm in a really, really good mood? ;) )

Music Monday - Sammy Adams

HAPPY MONDAY!
Not really.... I'm just peppy because my room is filled with the scent of orange and white chocolate chip muffins! :) YUM!
So, yup! I've really been liking this song by Sammy Adams. I remember a few years ago I was really obsessed with him, there was this one song... I think it was I Hate College, and there is literally only one part in it that I really love. I would just walk around my house singing it all day long. Yeah, I'm just that cool. Do you guys do that too? I hope I'm not the only one! Haha! Get it?! That's the name of the song! :) I'm a funny kid!

What song are you obsessed with right now? Is it Sammy Adams? Do you even know who he is? What's your favorite kind of music? Have you heard I Hate College?

Wow Sarah... I need to relax with the questions... Sorry guys. I guess I'm just a little bit over tired right now, finals are coming up this week and I'm starting to stress out. Thank goodness for muffin therapy! ;)
Have a beautiful day lovelies!

May Favorites!

I've really been loving using this to set my foundation, but unfortunately I just finished it off yesterday </3 so now I'm on the hunt for the next great setting powder!

As you may remember, this was in my Lust List post, and I recently purchased this! I know I only got it a few days ago, but it definitely made an impression and was a favorite in May!

This product was also featured in my Lust List post. Obviously this is not a full size, I got this deluxe sample when Sephora was promoting BB Creams last summer. I use this on the rare occasion because I really don't have all that much left :( But I adore this product. The only problem is, I think paying $39 for a BB cream is a bit ridiculous...

Favorite liquid liner ever. I probably used this stuff for all but 3 days during May. My routine was literally concealer on my lids, liquid liner, and mascara. Love it!

Also a new purchase, but I love this color and I think it's a great product so it just had to be included!

Not gonna lie guys, I think that this is a pretty close dupe for Stila's Kitten! Say what?! Yeah, there may be another dupe post soon in the future!

Another eye liner favorite for the month! I love this when I don't feel like wearing black but I don't want anything too bright or bold.

I love this shadow for highlighting my inner corners! It's fantastic!

This is the lipbalm I made a little while ago and I've really been loving it! Let me know if you want me to do a post on how I made it, and what I used!

I finally jumped on the bouncy blush bandwagon! And let me just say, I'm glad I did! I've literally been wearing this every single day since I got it! It's the prettiest color! Personally, I think that this is just perfect for summer!
What were your May Favorites? Let me know! :)
Have a beautiful day<3

Wet N Wild Idol Eyes Creme Shadow Pencils

Distress, Pixie, Graphite

Distress, Pixie, Graphite

Distress, Pixie, Graphite
So if  you've seen most of my hauls, you may remember seeing Graphite in one of them a few weeks ago. Well, last weekend I had to run into Rite Aid to pick up some things and of course, I can't go into Rite Aid without looking at makeup! So I wandered back to the Wet n Wild section and saw that they finally had Pixie back in stock and they were bogo 1/2 off so I had to get two, right? So, I did! :) Obviously...
Anyways, I really really like these! I've been smudging Distress into my lash line, putting a little tiny bit of black liquid liner and then using Pixie to brighten my inner corners and brow bone! Love it! These are so smooth and creamy. For the price, you really can't go wrong! I believe they are $1.99. Prices will probably vary depending on location, but either way they won't be too expensive!
One of the only downsides to this product is that they really don't have very many colors. I have my fingers crossed that Wet N Wild will decide to come out with some more beautiful shades! :)
Have you guys tried this product? If so, which is your favorite shade?

Have a beautiful day<3
